日本媒體報導，台灣左投羅華韋赴日本職棒火腿隊接受測試，日本媒體報導羅華韋沒有通過測試。

羅華韋7日上午在日本火腿位於沖繩名護市的春訓基地參加測試，陽岱鋼還鼓勵羅華韋「不要想太多，放輕鬆去表現、不要緊張」。可惜羅華韋沒通過測試，因此2人沒機會當隊友。

羅華韋23歲，目前就讀開南大學，2009年加盟美國職棒老虎隊，隔年就因韌帶受傷動手術，羅華韋最快球速可達151公里，曾在去年中日經典棒球賽首戰登板，投0.2局無失分。
