美胖子成長率30年來首度持平

法新社報導，美國非營利組織「美國健康信託」及詹森基金會16日發布年度報告「肥胖問題不及格：肥胖如何威脅美國的未來」，報告中說，美國成人肥胖率在歷經30年的不斷升高後，終於在去年未再增長，而是幾乎每一州都持平。但儘管如此，專家說，目前各州的胖子比率都還是太高。

1980年，全美各州胖子比率皆在15%以下，但去年全美胖子最少的科羅拉多州，還有20.5%的胖子。肥胖問題最嚴重的阿肯色州，胖子占了34.5%。
