【謝岱穎／綜合報導】國民先發投手席默曼(Jordan Zimmermann)今天(21日)對馬林魚投出2安打完封，不只自己拿下19勝，領先國聯，也幫國民保住外卡晉級機會，國民目前仍落後國聯外卡排名共同領先的海盜和紅人4場。

席默曼完投9局，被敲2支安打無失分，僅投出1次四壞，飆出9次三振，幫助球隊以8比0獲勝，目前戰績19勝8敗、防禦率3.18。
