【綜合報導】美國網球公開賽女子單人決賽結果今早出爐，一號種子，美國的小威廉絲(S.Williams)，以盤數二比一擊敗世界第二的白俄羅斯亞薩蓮卡(V.Azarenka)，成功衛冕冠軍。
 
本場球賽幾乎是去年決賽的翻版。小威在第一盤克服強風，以七比五拔得頭籌。亞薩蓮卡在第二盤發揮渾身解數，與小威周旋，結果以六比七追回，盤數打成一比一平手。小威在第三盤穩紮穩打，以六比一大勝，結束整場賽事。
