8隻緝毒犬查夜店　KTV客人：嚇到了

上百位台中市的員警，進入KTV裡頭臨檢，不過最吸睛的是這一隻隻拉布拉多緝毒犬，身上穿著執勤的小背心，包廂內的民眾排排站，配合臨檢，不少人看到拉布拉多直呼好可愛。民眾：「嚇到我了！哇！好可愛！」

緝毒犬進入裡頭，忙碌的工作，四處聞來聞去，沙發夾層，都不放過，只要有人經過，立刻拉長鼻子，猛力聞，不少客人想摸摸狗狗。民眾；「牠在工作，不可以摸。」

接著再改到夜店，民眾坐在高椅上，拼命探頭看。民眾：「High！」

這是台中市警方首次出動緝毒犬查緝毒品，4小時作業卻是一個毒品都沒査到，警方被批評帶著緝毒犬作秀。警方：「因為是有發揮這個偵查效果，所以毒販和吸毒的，比較不敢在公開場合。」

一隻緝毒犬得從小訓練，必須經過三道篩選關卡，兩次專業訓練，大約兩歲才能曾為緝毒犬，警方說民眾身上藏毒品，肉眼看不到，得靠緝毒犬發揮作用，雖然這次沒查獲，但已經達到嚇阻作用。
